ELECTRICITY IN THE NORTH OF SCOTLAND

The aim of the following paper is to assess the success of the policies followed by the North of Scotland Hydro‐Electric Board in supplying the North of Scotland with electricity. In particular we raise the question of the cost of electricity, and of how far the policies followed are justified as compared with alternatives which have been available.
